ENVIRON project cited by Defra

A recent press release from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) cited ENVIRON's contaminated land management work on behalf of the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames as a "positive example" and urged local authorities in England to bid for funding to help recognize and restore contaminated land. Over £17 million in funding is available to assist councils in identifying contaminated sites and reduce the risks to human health and the environment through capital projects.
