Two of Envirocare's Consultants are now part of the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register (OSHCR)
30 April 2012, News release from Envirocare Technical Consultancy Ltd
Eddie Kalinowski (CMIOSH) and Andrea Beswick (CMIOSH) have been accepted as members of this recently instigated register.
As highly skilled professionals they are able to provide advice not only on the management of health & safety risks but also in specialist fields such as noise and workplace air monitoring.
The web based directory is a result of the Government's acceptance of the recommendation outlined in the report, 'Common Sense, Common Safety' which aims to professionalise health and safety consultants. The partnership bodies which worked on this register have set a minimum standard of the following:
•A degree level qualification;
•At least two years' experience and active engagement in a continuing professional development scheme;
•All consultants who join the register are bound by their professional body's code of conduct;
•Consultants are committed to providing sensible and proportionate advice.
To achieve this status as OSHCR consultants, they had to apply in writing then their professional body (IOSH, the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) verified that they are full members with Chartered status. To achieve status as OSHCR consultants, written applications were verified by IOSH to validate their standing as chartered members.
You can be assured therefore that Eddie Kalinowski and Andrea Beswick fulfil their responsibilities on the above criteria, thus assuring their clients with their competent status as consultants upon whom you can trust and rely and who stand out from the rest. Registration on the scheme furthers the commitment that Envirocare hold to on-going improvement and provision of the highest quality service available.
