Geotech's landfill gas & biogas time-saver upgrade is a no-cost download

GA5000 upgrade: Landfill gas time saving
Regular users of the recently released GA5000 portable landfill gas analyser can now save time in the field with a new, free feature. They can switch off context-sensitive help and move through menus quickly. That's ideal for users who are familiar with the analyser. This offers genuine time savings for many landfill site operators as it is combined with the improved response time of the GA5000 - now an impressive 10 seconds only for methane and carbon dioxide analysis.

BIOGAS 5000 upgrade: Simple single gas reading
A simple new operation mode for users to take and store a single gas measurement is also a free Geotech download. The BIOGAS 5000 now offers users the simplest possible means of taking routine readings of the key gases, particularly methane.Regularly used to monitor H2S before and after de-sulphurisation, the BIOGAS 5000 can measure H2S from 0-10,000ppm.

No charge for upgrade
Available on new GA5000, GEM5000 and BIOGAS 5000 analysers, users can simply download and add this free firmware upgrade to any of those analysers. Alternatively, Geotech will automatically complete the upgrade when it services and calibrates analysers.

User-set default
The new firmware sets full context-sensitive help for new users as the default and frequent users can easily switch off the help screens and have 'help off' or 'simple gas' as their default on any analyser.
