Worcester City Council has enhanced its street cleaning service with the addition of an Aquazura street scrubber dryer from Euromec.
Worcester in the West Midlands is a popular tourist attraction. In addition to its existing shops and restaurants, a new outside precinct has recently been built in the city. This includes a number of popular fast food outlets.
Dedicated to keeping the streets of Worcester clean, the council decided to invest in a machine that would tackle the build up of grease and grime. The Aquazura is the perfect machine for the job. Five rotating brushes scrub the ground, removing dirt. The waste water is then collected in a 1000 litre recovery tank, leaving pavements spotlessly clean, and dry.
John Wilkinson, Transport Consultant to Worcester City Council commented, "Following the completion of the new shopping area, we looked at the market to find a machine that would remove dirt and stains from the pedestrian zones, whilst protecting the environment. The Aquazura is the only machine we found that matched all our requirements. So far it has proved to be a worthwhile purchase."
Euromec is the UK's leading supplier of municipal cleaning machines, and has a strong relationship with Worcester City Council. This latest order is the third it has placed with Euromec in the last 6 years. Previously it invested in six Azura street sweepers.
