KERBY® - You Could Call It A Mobile M.R.F.!
5 September 2012, News release from Advanced Recycling Systems Ltd
At A.R.S. Kerbside Recycling is a hot topic.
With so many different routines in place around the country they've come up with their own unique, one-stop solution.
Kerby® is a simple, automated, vehicle-based system designed to bring kerbside recycling up-to-date; improving efficiency, reducing carbon emissions and of course, saving money!
Kerby® simplifies the whole operation of kerbside collections by automatically sorting mixed cans and plastic bottles. Cans are baled into separate biscuits of Aluminium and Steel and plastic bottles are pierced, flattened and stored. The improved collection capacity allows for compartmentalised storage of paper, card and glass and they can adapt the system to suit your particular collection requirements. Kerby® is straightforward, equals less unloading trips, greater efficiency and the prospect of up to 78% more recyclables collected per trip compared to traditional kerbside collection methods.
If you'd prefer a demountable option Kerby 'Festival' can give you operational efficiency for large events or where you have a steady stream of recyclables to deal with.
With Kerby® they've thought of everything but if you have a different or unusual situation to address their experience in bespoke design will help them come up with an answer.
Look out for their insert in the September issue of L.A.W.R. magazine which will be available at RWM12 if you don't already subscribe.
