Conductivity Profiling in Boreholes made Simple!

The NEW Solinst TLC Meter from Waterra (UK) Limited combines conductivity and temperature profiling on a high quality water level dip meter. It is an ideal reconnaissance tool for profiling electrical conductivity and temperature in boreholes and open water allowing rapid identification of salinity contamination and temperature gradients. It can also be used for guiding borehole purging strategies as illustrated in the graphic, which shows a conductivity profile used to justify low-flow purging within the screened section of a borehole.

Design features include:

  • 0-80,000 S/cm conductivity range, accuracy ± 2%
  • 1 or 2 point conductivity calibration
  • Rotating LCD display for conductivity and temperature measurements
  • Non-stretch, flat tape marked every millimetre
  • Audio and visual water level signal
  • Sturdy reel design, with easy access battery drawer
  • Tape guide and carry bag included
