As part of its growing Climate Change work Idom Merebrook has added the service of Lead Assessor under the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme Regulations 2014 (ESOS).

Under the scheme, companies over the qualifying threshold are required to comply with the regulations by December 2015. Compliance requires undertaking an ESOS assessment including an Energy Audit. Idom Merebrook has staff trained as Lead Auditor under the scheme and can offer this role to existing and new clients.

It is important that the scheme does provide opportunities for better energy usage rather than represent another burdensome statutory obligation. Idom Merebrook would be pleased to assist in in those objectives and is also able to offer wider bespoke consultancy services in connection with such programmes. These services include process consultancy and full engineering design of new facilities
