Degrémont refreshes its innovative water laboratory with new name
Degrémont will rebrand and relaunch its innovative laboratory this month, helping users to better understand how its services can reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
The lab's new operational name will be Degrémont Water Sciences Laboratory, encompassing the broad range of services it offers to customers, from analysis through to complex investigations.
Degrémont Water Sciences Laboratory, based in Grangemouth, Scotland, is now in its 10th year of operation and will mark the occasion with an appearance at the Scottish Environmental Technology Network's 8th Annual Environmental and Clean Technology Conference and Exhibition in Glasgow, on 26th June. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to discover the full range of services offered by the lab's fast turn-around, 24 hour service.
The Degrémont Water Sciences Laboratory provides a wide range of UKAS accredited water, wastewater and waste analysis and specialised investigations. The Degrémont Water Sciences Laboratory can develop customer focused flow and load surveys that can benchmark current performance against original design and using analytical data to identify process changes that may impact quality and compliance. Having identified the specific issues that affect the plant, Degrémont can then specify the most efficient, cost-effective solutions for water and wastewater treatment. The laboratory includes a pilot testing facility, a microscopy unit, an anaerobic digestion plant, and is undertaking research into current and future water and wastewater issues.
The 8th Annual Environmental & Clean Technology Conference 2014 brings together the cream of Scotland's ECT entrepreneurs and enterprises to shine a spotlight on the nation's eco-innovators and provide a wealth of information and networking opportunities to the sector, its customers and potential investors.
