Lindner Jupiter Shredder
13 July 2009, News release from Mach Tech Services Ltd
The first Lindner Jupiter Shredder to be purchased for the UK Recycling and Recovery market has been delivered and installed at the premises of progressive Waste Management company, MID UK Recycling Ltd of Lincolnshire.
The Jupiter 3200 produced in Austria by Lindner Recyclingtech Gmbh and available exclusively in the UK from MachTech Services Ltd is capable of the pre-shredding of up to 50 tonnes per hour of unsorted wastes and produces a defined particle which demonstrably improves the performance of down stream equipment and picking lines. The Jupiter which weighs in at 39 tonnes is suitable for the shredding of non pre-treated domestic waste, commercial and industrial waste, bulky waste, waste wood and mixed building and construction wastes etc, ensuring that Mid UK already being able to boast a 100% recycling rate can ensure increased productivity through cutting edge technology only available with Lindner systems.
The revolutionary cutting system installed in the Jupiter series of pre-shredders coupled with the sickle bar screen arrangement allows waste input to be shredded to a defined granulate, the design of the cutting system is for economical durability and the cutting of foreign parts, even when a massive foreign part is entered into the cutting chamber damage is limited due to the innovative safety clutch, foreign parts can then be removed through the patented inward opening foreign parts door which negates the need to empty the filling hopper, this operation takes a short time and allows the high availability of the shredding unit.
Another design enhancement on the entire range of Lindner Recyclingtech machinery is the new control concept via the Industrial PC with touch screen operators panel, this innovative step offers diagnostic systems, online support during maintenance and control room support by allowing direct access to the machine operating parameters and operational history for the electrical department of Lindner.
With more than 100 RDF/SRF Production plants in operation worldwide, Lindner Recyclingtech is respected as one of the specialists within the field as the recent MBT and MRF Symposium at Waste-to-Resource,Hannover showed, with the Lindner research and development team organising an educational excursion to MBA Sudniedersachen Gmbh operators of two Jupiter 3200 and two of the secondary shredders Power Komet 2800.
With Lindner equipment already in operation at major cement companies such as Lafarge, Holcim, Cemex and Heidleberg and RDF product sourced by Cemex in the UK from Lindner operators Premier Waste PLC, Mid UK and Wastecycle amongst others, customers can be rest assured that the years of research and development at Lindners HQ in Spittal-an-der-Drau in the Carinthia region of Austria have provided a robust slow running single shaft shredder capable of very high defined throughputs and an efficient high throughput secondary shredder producing a required commodity at high consistent throughputs.
Lindner Recyclingtech Gmbh and its subsidiary Lindner ReSource Gmbh are represented in the UK by MachTech Services Ltd.
