Hot on the heals of the order from Jersey Water for the ResMix "Source Management" system, Gurney Environmental have now received an order from Southern Water who now join the growing list of ResMix users.

Already successfully adopted by many of the UK’s water utilities in multiple locations across England, Scotland and Wales, the newest order for the ResMix system is to be used in a reservoir in Sussex, having been procured through Southern Water's delivery partners, CMDP, as a part of their AMP 6 programme.

Scottish Water were the first water utility company in the UK to adopt the Australian-made WEARS ResMix ‘Source Management” system some 7 years ago. Since that time, a growing number of water utilities have added the systems to their raw water supply reservoirs.

The ResMix ‘Source Management’ system improves and maintains water quality in the reservoir with the benefit of downstream savings at the water treatment works. Its proven performance has made it the first choce for a growing number of water utilities. WEARS ResMix systems include Resmix Vital for use in potable water storage tanks and reservoirs. The unit is recognised as a best practice, cutting edge solution for eliminating water stratification, temperature variation and dead zones in potable water reservoirs.
