Less than a month to biggest ever Ecobuild
8 February 2010, News release from Ecobuild
Ecobuild, the world's biggest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment opens its doors in less than a month.
It's back at London's Earls Court on Tuesday 02 to Thursday 04 March, bigger than ever, with 1,000 exhibitors, over 100 free conference and seminar sessions delivered by more than 600 speakers, and dozens of attractions and special events.
From big names such as Rockwool, Sika, Dimplex, Finnforest, Schueco, Interface, Rehau, ACO Technologies, Kohler Mira and CEMEX, to the smallest new business exhibiting in Ecobuild's Green Shoots entrepreneurs' zone, every conceivable product and service for low and zero carbon construction will be represented, including hundreds of new launches.
And of course Ecobuild's outstanding conference and seminar programme always delivers the very best in up-to-date information, delivered by over 600 of the sector's most highly-regarded experts.
Other highlights include Saint-Gobain's energy efficient, zero carbon solar powered home for the Solar Decathlon Europe competition, and a free 'design while you wait' consultation with Bill Dunster's RuralZED team which will allow visitors to come away with an architect's sketch layout for a potential site, a quantity surveyor costed RuralZED housing solution, an estate agent's valuation of the completed home(s) and a business plan providing anticipated profit.
Solarcentury's Solar Hub is well-timed to help visitors understand the implications of the Government's clean energy cashback scheme planned for April next year, whilst experts in training in low-impact building methods and natural materials, RESET and Amazonails will provide a series of rammed earth and strawbale workshops, taking place daily on the exhibition floor.
