CDEnviro Offer Free S:Max Sludge Screen Trials in UK

"The potential efficiency gains from the widespread introduction of the S:Max across the industry cannot be overstated based on the experience we have had." So said Severn Trent Water following the installation of an S:Max SRU25 sludge screen at Minworth Sewage Treatment Works in Birmingham, England.

Following on from this success CDEnviro have announced the launch of a program of free trials within the UK sewage and waste water treatment sector. These trials will involve the supply of a S:Max sludge screen to allow operators to establish the suitability of the unit for introduction to their sludge screening processes.

Commenting on the initiative Commercial Manager for CDEnviro, Matt Bunting said "We know from existing installations that S:Max offers a means of greatly enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of sludge screening operations. These trials offer operators a risk free route to proving the effectiveness of the S:Max and we are confident that this will lead to many more installations in the UK market."

A recently published case study on the Minworth project revealed that an S:Max installation will ensure increased screenings removal, eliminate blockages during the screening process and significantly reduce operational costs due to a reduction in the requirement for operator intervention.

Further details on the free trials currently being offered can be obtained by contacting CDEnviro at or by contacting the company on 028 8676 7900.
