HRS Heat Exchangers bespoke manufacturing capability helps Severn Trent Water out of a tight spot.

HRS Heat Exchangers in the UK have recently supplied 2 banks of DTI corrugated tube heat exchangers to a Severn Trent sewage treatment works for AD Digestate heating.

The units were manufactured to fit into an existing plantroom that was extremely limited on space and only had access available through a standard single door.

HRS worked closely with the Severn Trent digester team to design 2 banks of units on a single boxed stainless steel holding frame. The units were a bespoke manufacture to fit into the existing plantroom and featured a completely breakdown format including a demountable frame, demountable tubes with removable bends and dog leg connections to assist the Severn Trent installation team with the optimum positioning within the plantroom.

HRS offers standard size units as well as many bespoke designs and options including Steel Cladding, Sockets for cleaning connections, Vent Points, Sensor Connections.

HRS manufactures units in Vertical, Chevron and multi stacked formats and offer site liaison with customers to help sizing units to fit in awkward and difficult locations.
