Compact, Convenient and Comfortable
29 October 2012, News release from Hako Machines Ltd
The Hako-Citymaster 1250 multipurpose sweeper is the result of further development of the successful Hako-Citymaster 1200. The main emphasis lay in improving the riding comfort and operating convenience as well as increasing efficiency and performance capability, which represent the central aspects for professional, commercial users.
The driving speed of 30 km/h represents a 20% increase compared to its predecessor model, the Hako-Citymaster 1200, meaning that actual work can begin more quickly and travelling times are reduced. The 30% increase in the working speed represents a distinct improvement in the work output.
The Hako-Citymaster 1250 is available in two models: Hako-Citymaster 1250, a single-purpose vehicle, and Hako-Citymaster 1250C, a multipurpose vehicle.
The single-purpose 1250 model is the ideal vehicle for pure sweeping tasks or wet cleaning (with additional options) and represents an economic basic vehicle. The multipurpose 1250C model represents an excellent basis from which to complete other work beyond the scope of pure sweeping tasks. The multipurpose vehicle can also be equipped with additional options for wet cleaning.
The new system for changing attachments requires shorter set-up times, compared to the predecessor model. The overall procedure is easier and operations can be completed by a single operator to increase efficiency and improve economy.
The commercial deployment of a sweeper places the strictest standards on driving comfort. The new quality seats in the Hako-Citymaster 1250 have been optimally adapted to the vehicle dynamics. This helps prevent damage to health and provides the highest seating comfort even for long working days. The standard seat is provided with an adjustable backrest, lumbar support and arm rests, all this coupled with a steering column adjuster.
Other improvements include better air conditioning, large windscreen wipers and enlarged storage space in the cab for more comfort on long working days.
The enhanced lighting enables more relaxed working in the early hours of the morning or later in the evening.
Improved service and safety functions reduce both downtimes and the risk of damage. The safety tested cab, equipped with a roll over protection structure (ROPS), is fitted with a safety belt as standard measure and provides the driver with a high level of safety.
An optionally available lubrication system enables the reliable and precisely dosed lubrication of the basic vehicle via a single lubricating point - the system can also be easily upgraded to a fully automatic lubrication system.
The hopper weight indicator option enables the driver to see when the dirt hopper is full. Together with the optional residual volume indicator, it helps prevent dangerous overloading and ensure hopper volumes are optimally used.
Generously sized plane mirrors with broad fields of vision provide the driver with a full view to the rear from the front wheel to the rear of the vehicle without the uncertainty of estimating distances which occur when parabolic mirrors are used.
