NCS Restructures To Drive Growth

NCS - the Manchester-based energy management company - has completed a significant restructure of its business.
Created in 2000, NCS designs, controls and monitors systems to help organisations keep their energy usage to a minimum and save money in the process.
As part of the corporate changes, the company has created NCS Holdings which will now operate as a parent company to its two divisions - NCS Cumbria and NCS Mechanical.
Gary Scaife has taken on the role of CEO of NCS Holdings and will be responsible for supporting the overall development of the group and planning at a strategic level.
Former operations director Chris Norburn has been promoted to managing director at NCS Cumbria. In his new role, he will be responsible for targeting increased business growth and turnover, as well as managing the development of staff and customer service.
Mark Burton will be responsible for the mechanical and service division based from Kendal.
Phil Pond has also taken on the role of business development director at NCS Holdings Ltd.
Speaking of the restructure, Gary Scaife said: "The recent changes will enable us to gear up for what is going to be an exciting new phase for NCS.
"The restructure will allow the business to prepare for significant expansion over the next 12 months and I'm confident that we have the best possible team to meet these objectives."
NCS Holdings employs 30 people at its bases in both Manchester and Kendal in Cumbria. It provides holistic energy management solutions to help companies achieve their long-term energy goals. It has worked with Marks & Spencer since 2004, implementing energy efficiency schemes at stores across the retailer's UK estate.
Scaife continued: "The UK energy management sector is experiencing unprecedented levels of growth and through our groundbreaking work with Marks & Spencer, we are well-placed to capture significant market share. This restructure will enable to us to refine our products and solutions in order to enhance both customer service and delivery."
NCS Holdings has ambitious expansion plans. Currently turning over £7 million a year, it is looking to break the £15 million target over the next three years. It works with a number of clients in the retail, leisure and commercial property sectors across the UK.
