Stanton Bonna wins three outstanding awards

The MPA British Precast Best Practice Awards 2014 were held on Thursday 1 May in Leicester.

The awards showcase the exemplary work undertaken to improve health & safety, sustainability, innovation and projects.

These special awards also marked the 50th Anniversary of British Precast and the association with a commemorative book. Which was presented to each table of members.

There were 30 entries for the 6 categories which included: Project Award, Innovation Award, Sustainability Award, Health & Safety Award and Outstanding Contribution to Health and Safety.

Stanton Bonna and the team won three prestigious awards:

Chris Taylor, Quality Control & Site Support Technician from Stanton Bonna, won the Outstanding Contribution to Health & Safety Award due to his "product knowledge and site support experience which enables him to identify potential problems and present solutions". Congratulations to Chris!

For the seventh consecutive year Stanton Bonna achieved WINNER of Gold Award with Red Seal for Concrete Targets 2015. This honour is awarded for achievements in health and safety and accident reduction and a real testament to the outstanding commitment from Stanton Bonna.

The third award achieved was a Highly Commended for Health and Safety in helping customers avoid working at height during offloading. This is partly due to innovative offloading systems, some of which were designed and commissioned by Stanton Bonna, including the Stanton Bonna Pipe Lifters.
