Heat flow measurement at Munich Airport

Munich Airport is Europe's seventh busiest airport and the 27th busiest in the world. More than half of the energy required for the airport is produced in the power supply centre based on a CHP unit with a thermal output of 20.8 MW and an electrical output of 18.5 MW. Boilers can be found in the energy supply centre for coverage of peak heat levels, heat storage and refrigeration plants for supplying the airport buildings with ambient cooling.
