Rapid growth drives investment at Xylem Analytics
Defying economic conditions, Xylem Analytics has enjoyed another highly successful year in the provision of water monitoring equipment and related services. In order to manage this growing demand, the company has invested in four new positions at its Letchworth facility.
Xylem Analytics develops and manufactures a broad range of water testing and monitoring instrumentation including market leading brands such as YSI, SonTek, Aanderaa, MJK and WTW.
Vincent Farrell joins the company from GE Mobile Water & Process Technologies where he worked as an electrician in the Petrochemical, Industrial and Nuclear markets. Vincent is a qualified electrician and also holds a degree in Energy and Environmental Engineering. One of Vincent's primary roles will be the installation and configuration of WTW on-line instrumentation, in addition to repair and support work for YSI sondes and handhelds, and SonTek ADCP's.
Ben Johnson has been promoted to a newly created position - Coastal & Oceans Support, and his current position as Service Technician has been filled by Steven Boreland, who has undertaken a similar role in the medical market for 9 years and brings with him many transferable skills.
Sita Dhadra recently gained her AAT (MAAT) accounting qualification from the Goldsmith College in Letchworth and joins as Assistant Management Accountant.
Jane Kitchener began her career at Xylem Analytics as a temporary staff member, before being offered a full time role as Office Administrator. Jane's role will include answering customer service calls and entering orders.
