New brochure highlights Hydro's innovative wastewater capability

A leading international provider of wastewater management technology and solutions, Hydro International's capabilities are reviewed in Hydro's new Wastewater Management Technology brochure for utility and industrial wastewater processes.

The Hydro Water and Wastewater Division has won several prestige contracts in the UK and Europe during 2007, and its technology is also successful in the USA. The new brochure demonstrates the Division's range of low maintenance, low lifetime cost, high performance solutions offered from inlet through primary, tertiary and sludge treatment, sludge screening and ancillaries.

The Division's solutions include non-powered flow control (Hydro-Brake® Flow Control) and self-cleansing screening (Hydro-Jet® Screen) for inlet or remote works and CSOs, large scale grit removal systems (Grit King® Separator) for removing sediments and grits. The Lamella and Salsnes clarifiers offer innovative primary sedimentation and sludge dewatering equipment and, in tertiary treatment, the DynaDisc™ and DynaSand® sand filtration plants provide suspended solids removal, nitrification and denitrification.

The market leading small footprint SludgeScreen™ and Rotomaster™ offer sludge screening and thickening treatment while the Zickert, bottom sludge scrapers and surface skimmers deliver new and cost-effective sludge transport in treatment, settlement and odour control projects.

The new brochure also demonstrates Hydro's research and development led philosophy, as well as its commitment to service support. In addition, Hydro also offers an extensive range of low minimal maintenance, low power, stormwater management solutions.
