Innovative tank manufacturer returns to IWEX
13 April 2010, News release from Balmoral Tanks
Leading European tank design and manufacturing company, Balmoral Tanks, is returning to IWEX with a comprehensive offering of: "Whatever type of tank you require, we almost certainly make it".
Allan Joyce, managing director of the company, will be leading the company's presence from Stand D40 where he promises a number of industry innovations. He told us: "We are pleased to be returning to IWEX as the show has been a great platform for us in the past.
"This year we have even more to offer in terms of our GRP and steel sectional water storage tanks business as well as bringing our award winning third generation sewage treatment plant, the Balmoral HydroClear, to the show for the first time."
The company is viewed as being one of the most comprehensive storage tank and treatment plant suppliers in Europe. Privately owned and highly innovative, Balmoral Tanks is committed to a continuous programme of R&D.
A new IT-driven estimating system for its sectional tank range was recently introduced which has brought great benefits for clients who require a quick turnaround at the pricing stage of a project.
Norman Ross, sales director, said: "We see more and more projects being driven by price, which is understandable given current trading conditions. We are highly competitive in the marketplace and because of our company structure we go the extra mile when it comes to after sales service and support.
"Customers appreciate this in these stringent times and we are pleased to be able to support them with our promise of product quality and service."

The company's latest sewage treatment plant, the HydroClear "delivers class-leading performance across the board", states Tim Mackley, the company's wastewater product manager.
"End-users told us that the most important considerations for them include reliable performance, economic running costs, odour minimisation and silent operation.
"All of these factors have been designed into the HydroClear as well as addressing important logistical issues such as minimising transport, storage and installation costs."
Mackley said: "For the technically minded, the plant provides an effluent quality of 10:13:6mg/l BOD, SS and NH4-N respectively, equal to a ground-breaking pollutant removal level of 97%."
