In Situ Ammonia Measurement from S::CAN AMMO::LYSER
S::CAN produces a wide variety of high performance, cost effective Sensors & Transmitters for the Water & Waste Water marketplace. Designed to satisfy a broad range of applications. The IP65 Multi-Channel Con::lyte transmitter supports 2, 3 or 4 channels. This is complete with a backlit display & 4-20mA outputs for each channel/determinand.
Intended for sophisticated analysis, the powerful 8-Channel Con::stat is available with standard feature such as touch screen, embedded windows NT, LAN, 4-20mA IO, integral modem for GPRS connection.
The Con::stat supports simultaneous multi-parameter sensor configurations, such as Ammo::lyser & Specto::lyser. A typical set up is ammonia, pH and temperature with TSS, Nitrate & BOD/COD making this a very powerful sewage works or compliance device. In addition O2 and pH could be added. WEB based data analysis is also available and SMS messaging of events!
S::CAN pioneered the worlds first practical online immersed spectrophotometer. The benefit achieved via this entirely new approach was to provide cost effective derivation of many parameters which previously required a sample to be sucked into a 'Process Cabinet Analyser'. Also available from S::CAN is the new LOW COST, LOW MAINTENANCE AMMO::LYSER configured as a dip type Ammonia sensor with advanced potassium compensation complete with temperature and pH compensation.
Each sensor is supplied with a Global calibration allowing plug & play operation right out of the box. Improved calibration accuracy is achieved by the use of the local calibration facility. Advanced, robust control of De-Nitrification processes is achievable using a combination of S::CAN CON::STAT & sensors configured for TSS, Nitrate, O2 and BOD/COD.
Typical UK sewage works installation from hand rail. Minimal manual intervention required. Typical outputs are Ammonia, pH and temperature. Auto-cleaning is optionally available, consisting of jet washing the sensor with compressed air (supplied from a low noise locally mounted compressor). Cleaning frequency/duration is user definable at the transmitter.
