HACH LANGE has been awarded ISO 9001 certification for the sales and service of instrumentation.
General/Key Account Manager Nigel Spencer says, "This is not simply a paperwork activity designed to put a certificate on a wall - it is a public declaration that we are committed to achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction; ISO 9001 certification confirms that we have the processes in place to deliver our promises."
The Manchester head office now houses the recently aligned HACH ULTRA and HACH LANGE businesses. HACH ULTRA had already achieved ISO 9001 in 2005, so the alignment of the two companies provided an opportunity to streamline business processes in line with both ISO 9001:2000 and the Group's internal business system 'DBS', which is also focused on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Commenting on the value of certification, Nigel Spencer says, "We measure our performance in almost everything that we do, so customers can be confident that if we can find a way to improve our service, we will. So, for example, if we fail to deliver on time, we find out the root cause and fix it; which is why HACH LANGE customers can rest assured that they will receive market-leading levels of quality and service."
