Budget Day in the UK for the greenest government ever

The UK Coalition government pledged to be the greenest government ever. Yesterday was the annual Budget Day here in the UK whereby the government published its intentions with the taxation and many other measures to influence the economy. One of the green initiatives has been and continues to be the so-called Green Bank which is meant to lend money to green projects that other banks would not fund.

Although the Green Bank probably will be lending money to some very large projects, such as tidal power plants, the Whzan team is hopeful that many smaller projects also get funded. Microgeneration comes in many forms from solar panel farms to heat pump systems, many of which require close monitoring and optimisation to really reap the full benefits.Emma Hamilton
