Fed up with climate change gloom and doom? Join the upbeats
Having decided that the politicians can worry about the gloom and doom side of climate change and there's very little I can do in my little corner of Derbyshire that will affect US or Chinese policy, I have started a blog for the upbeat environmentalists who want to see being green as an opportunity rather than a threat.
I know there are dreadful things going on but I am a bit of a Polyanna and I can't live like that, so I am doing my bit with enthusiasm, excitement and a positive attitude.
That means I can enjoy doing my veg patch, I love shopping locally, I cycle to work ( ok, so it's not very far but it's the thought that counts) and I try to do whatever I can to make being green fun...and it is! I save money, I keep fitter, I meet lots of nice, local people in my local shops and I get a warm, cuddly glow about making my little corner of the planet a better place.
If you want to follow life in the Derbyshire hills with someone who finds 26 tea leaves a major cause for celebration ( trust me,) then see: http//nogreenhairshirtshere.blogspot.com
