Island Swallowed by Sea

New moore Island, South Talpatti Island, or Purbasha (depending on where you come from) has dissapeared under the sea. Scientists have blamed rising seas due to Global Warming* but people on other blogs and forums are already pooh-poohing the claims. Some have latched onto the fact that it is a fairly young Island, only appearing in the aftermath of the Bhola Cylone in 1970 but I don't think that this fact alone would make it immune to the rising sea levels affecting the islands of the region!
This is just one of the news items;
*(I prefer Global Change, but that's another discussion)
