Not all is green in the land of Green Energy

The picture that many of us carry in our minds about environmentalists or people who are concerned about the future of our planet is probably mixed. On one hand, one remembers the many campaigns and demonstrations organised by people like Greenpeace. You have seen them climbing up some pretty tall buildings to hang up their banners, teetering on the roof the Houses of Parliament for more times than one here in the UK and shadowing whaling ships in the rough oceans.

On the other hand, you expect these people to be sensible and well-informed campaigners and often scientists who deeply care about what they are promoting. But clearly these individuals have managed to gain enemies – no matter how good their intentions. Apparently, some of the scientists are now being targeted by bogus conference organisers offering all-expenses paid participation in conferences that do not exist. All you need to do is to send some money….

Of course Green Energy and money need to mix but maybe not like this!
