Post Ecobuild Blues

Having attended the busy Ecobuild event as a vistor for and on behalf of clients last week I am suffering from post event neglect. I made many inquiries to suppliers, dutifully filled in their inquiry forms with all my contact details and went on my merry way. Since then only one company out of the 14 I am still waiting to hear from has bothered to acknowledge my interest. If you are in a business selling sustainability products and services the clue is in the word 'sustainable' if you want to prosper and survive in a recession! It costs a lot to 'do' shows, every inquiry is important and needs a proportional response, first impressions matter but then so does walking the talk at every step of customer engagement before, during and post the sale. My experience of these suppliers does not bode well does it?
