Reasons why I'm getting annoyed with the Olympics

I'm getting increasingly annoyed with the Olympics or should that be the Visa, Coca Cola London 2012 Olympic Games in association with McDonalds?

It's the sponsorship that has got to me this week ... but I can feel as 2012 looms I'm going to get increasingly annoyed by the greenest games ever.

I can get over the fact it's going to close my local park in Greenwich, for the equestrian event, close numerous roads that are already highly congested around me.

I don't really mind the disruption, but I mind things like the fact the very expensive London cycle hire scheme can't be used on the Olympic site as it's sponsored by Barclay card.

And, as anyone who went through the bidding process for Olympic tickets, last week, know the organisers of the 2012 games are 'proud' to only accept Visa cards.

So not only do you have to a Visa card to get Olympic tickets, or at least be considered for events there's no guarantee, but you won't get to use our best public transport initiative in years.

And, don't get me started on the really annoying fact the 02 is to be known as the North Greenwich Arena for the duration of the Olympics.
