Finavera strike wind energy project deal

Irish headquartered renewable energy group Finavera has struck a deal to develop a new wind energy project in Canada.

Finavera has signed a deal with GE Energy Financial Services to use its wind turbine equipment in the production of the 45 megawatt Tumbler Ridge Wind Project in British Columbia.

"These turbines are very well suited to the wind resource and terrain associated with this project."
