Leonardo DiCaprio to lead Washington’s Earth Day celebrations

People living near the shoot locations of Leonardo DiCaprio's last two films - Titanic and The Beach - claim filming has resulted in environmental degradation. Now, Leo's been accepted an offer to lead American Earth Day celebrations.


American current affairs magazine, Mother Jones has taken a look at the claims of environmental damage that surround the shooting of Titanic and The Beach and argues that Leonardo DiCaprio is ignoring the impacts of filmmaking in favour of defending a film studio with a lousy environmental track record.
