Porritt, who is co-founder of Forum for the Future will advise Ceravisions’s Board of Directors on global and local and sustainability matters.

The company is a private UK-based company that develops High Efficiency Plasma (HEP) technology. The technology uses electrode-less HEP and its applications include industrial, commercial and street lighting and fibre optic installations.

CEO of Ceravison, Tim Reynolds said that Jonathon Porritt would help the company stay on top of global environmental trends and concerns.

Mr Porritt said, “With energy prices soaring, all organisations are looking to radically reduce their energy consumption.

“Ceravision’s technology allows customers and clients to carry out that responsibility, while at the same time benefiting from improved lighting.

“I look forward to working with Tim Reynolds and his colleagues in developing their environmental programme and sustainability credentials.”
