Senior appointment for Adler and Allan
Adler and Allan, the leading nationwide oil and environmental services group, has further strengthened its management team with the appointment of Robin Exley as a senior manager, with responsibility for the southern region. Robin will oversee all the divisions in the region and will be responsible for driving forward new initiatives and seeking out innovation and excellence in every aspect of their work.

An early task will be to develop a detailed knowledge of Adler and Allan's approach to business across its various divisions, including waste management, spill response, fuel installation services and separator services.

And following the amazing growth of Adler and Allan over the last 18 months, Robin is keen to ensure all divisions continue to out-perform their competitors and deliver superlative customer care.

Robin's first experience of the award-winning company came 10 years ago while he was working at Q8. "The company appointed Adler and Allan as its Spills Response team. They made an excellent impression on me by demonstrating great specialist knowledge in their field, along with strong attention to detail."

Over the intervening years, Robin has watched Adler and Allan grow in stature and reputation, and was delighted to be asked to join the company to manage the southern region operation.

"Adler and Allan are seen by the industry as a very go-ahead company," Robin said. "I was delighted to be invited to join them and play a major part in the running of their southern region."

Robin has more than 20 years' experience in the fuel industry and is a past president of the influential trade association, the Federation of Petroleum Suppliers. He continues to work closely with the Federation and sits on the council.

"My work with the Federation allows me to keep up to date with new legislation and keep track of the latest Government statements on our industry," Robin explained.

He began his career in fuel distribution at Ultramar in 1985, which became Q8 two years later. In 2004 the company was acquired by Pace Fuel Care, where Robin was a senior manager in charge of a 200-strong workforce.
