Cash boost for community composting

Grants totalling £25,000 are to be made available to community composting projects in North London.

The funding will come from the North London Waste Authority while the not-for-profit Community Recycling Network will also be offering training and advice to those involved in composting.

Cash-starved community groups that are already well-established as well as newcomers to the composting world will benefit from the cash injection.
