Heath, who has featured in programmes such as BBC’s Changing Rooms and Channel 4’s House to Home, is well known for his green values with sustainability being the bedrock of his design briefs.

He has recently completed a full environmental refurbishment of his home in Brighton, showcasing the practical and aesthetic benefits low energy living, reuse and ingenious recycling.

The house was awarded Super Home status by the Sustainable Energy Academy for reducing its carbon emissions by over 75% and in March 2011 was awarded the British Institute of Interior Design’s Retrofit award.

Heath has also authored several books and is a regular columnist for the Observer and Friends of the Earth.

As host, Heath will preside over the awards ceremony at London’s Russell Hotel, announcing the winners and welcoming them on stage to receive their awards.

Demand to attend the Resource Revolution Awards 2013, sponsored by the Carbon Trust, is running high. The awards ceremony will fronted by a special panel debate beforehand, sponsored by FCC Environment, which will examine the findings of our exclusive White Paper on the circular economy.
