New entrant targets energy-from-waste market in UK

Start-up company EFW Mechanical Services has announced that it will be entering the energy-from-waste market as it looks to build on recent contracts won in the sector.

EFW is based in Kent and recently emerged from a management buyout of mechanical services from Rainham Industrial Services (RIS).

The company says it will be supported by RIS throughout 2012 until it has established itself. Its core services include mechanical services and fabrication, industrial cleaning and refractory services.

EFW’s managing director Andy Rynston said: ‘We are looking forward to establishing ourselves in the energy-from-waste market and currently have secured contracts with clients at Belvedere, Slough and Maidstone.”
