VIDEO: Resource Revolution leader interview series kicks off

A fascinating insight into how the waste landscape might look in the future as resource scarcity pressures heighten is offered in the first of our Resource Revolution thought leader video interview series.

Independent commentator Peter Jones talks candidly about the mounting pressures waste companies face as businesses look to become more resource-efficient, and warns that the new dynamics of a circular economy could pose severe risks to those service providers that don’t reposition themselves fast enough.

But he adds the waste industry is in a prime position to capitalise upon future resource-led opportunities, being “closer to this revolution than many other sectors” due to the sector’s fundamental understanding of material flows.

Sponsored by FCC Environment, the interview series comprises eight video interviews with stakeholders from all points in the circular economy.
