Save the date: 10 May - our live Resource Revolution debate

The findings of our exclusive research highlighting the opportunities and challenges of circular economy realisation will be debated in front of a live audience next month as the Resource Revolution campaign nears the end of its first phase.

We have assembled a strong speaker line-up featuring representatives from Defra, the Green Alliance, WRAP, the EEF, the RSA and our Resource Revolution White Paper and panel debate sponsor FCC Environment to examine the implications of closed loop thinking as businesses start to take back waste-derived materials and energy into their supply chains.

With the majority of businesses looking to engage with their waste supply chains when it comes to closing the loop on their operations, our panel will assess how waste management companies can best reposition themselves to capitalise on this trend.

Discussion points will be drawn from both our White Paper published last month and series of Resource Revolution leader video interviews, currently being broadcast on edie.

The panellists are as follows: Dr Colin Church, director for waste, Defra; Dr Richard Swannell, director of design & waste prevention, WRAP; Sophie Thomas, co-director of design, RSA; Richard Belfield, group development director, FCC Environment; Suzanne Baker, senior climate & environment policy advisor, EEF the manufacturers' organisation. Dustin Benton, senior policy advisor at the Green Alliance will chair the discussion.

The debate precedes our Resource Revolution Awards gala ceremony and luncheon, both of which will be hosted at London's Russell Hotel in Holborn, 10 May. The awards are sponsored by the Carbon Trust and seek to recognise transformational change in modern waste management.

Demand for this event is running high - so don't miss out. Book your place at the debate and awards by contacting Aaron Borrow tel 01342 332077
