Webinar set to debate future of energy-from-waste

The opportunities and challenges around energy-from-waste (EfW) will be debated in a special edie webinar this week, looking at how the industry can maximise the potential for waste as an energy resource.

Leading waste-to-energy provider Advanced Plasma Power will be discussing some of the key issues in terms of policy drivers and the current regulatory environment with edieWaste editor Maxine Perella, before examining how advanced waste-to-energy technologies can play their part in helping to meet the UK's renewable energy targets.

The webinar, which takes place at 10.30 on Thursday November 24, will also look at how EfW can sit comfortably alongside recycling and reuse under the Waste Hierarchy, and the Government's commitment to a zero waste economy.

More details on the free webinar, and how to register, can be found here
