Following last weeks letter to Alex Salmond, Mr Trump has written to the MOD referring to its worry that the wind farm may interfere with a radar installation in the North Sea.

Mr Trump claims that there the MOD's objection to the turbines is "insurmountable" adding, "nothing can mitigate the impact these hideous windmills will have."

He also claimed that the developer, Vattenfall was in a poor financial state and "totally dependent on costly taxpayer funded subsidies."

The letter ends: "Thank you for your ongoing objections to these horrendous machines that will ruin Scotland and compromise the United Kingdom's Air Defence Program."
