Back in 2007, three years before he came to power, David Cameron pledged to support renewable energy as part of his ‘Greenest Government Ever’ agenda.

However, his words are being brought back to haunt him now as following his government’s decision to cut Feed-In Tariffs (FITs) by 50% by the Cut, Don’t Kill campaign.

The campaign claims the cuts to FITs, announced at the end of October, threaten 4,000 businesses and 25,000 solar jobs in the UK.

The video is released only days before a march on parliament to lobby MPs to fight against the cuts.

The rally next Tuesday (November 22) starts at the Emmanuel Centre 9-23 Marsham Street at 1pm.

Protesters will then march to the Houses of Parliament at St Stephens Entrance, Houses of Parliament from 2.30pm, where they will ask to speak to their individual MPs.
