New look
edie’s publisher, Faversham House, produces the UK’s largest multi-platform portfolio of sustainability information and resources, engaging year-round with thousands of energy, environment, facilities and sustainability professionals from all UK business sectors, private and public. This includes edie.net, a portfolio of conferences, awards and other events plus our annual exhibition at the NEC Sustainability Live.

We talked extensively to our community of website users, conference delegates, awards attendees and exhibition visitors, and with our advertisers, sponsors and exhibitors, asking them what they wanted from us, and they agreed universally.

Our audiences want a single, trusted source of information, whatever the platform, delivering coherent, multi-platform content 365 days a year.

The result is we’re bringing together our entire energy and sustainability offering under one brand, so we can deliver the information and insight you need to make your business better – and from now on, it’s all called edie.

Awards with heritage
The awards began life as edie.net’s Awards for Environmental Excellence in 2007. Since then the event has grown and expanded to include all key aspects of business sustainability. In line with that growth, the awards changed name in 2012 and the Sustainability Leaders Awards were born.

What makes a winner?
By embedding sustainability in their operations, business models and products, our winners are in the vanguard of sustainability and are driving demonstrable results through innovation, engagement and a commitment to doing business better.

Open to all, large and small
The awards are open to all businesses and organisations across the public and private sectors and of all sizes from the largest multi-nationals to the smallest micro-organisations. As long as the initiative, project, product or strategy shows commitment, credibility and concrete results, we want to hear about it.

RSA accreditation
The edie Sustainability Leaders Awards are included in the highly regarded RSA accreditation scheme – one of only a handful of environmental schemes to be chosen for this honour. This means that award winners have the opportunity to gain further accolades on the international stage, as they are automatically given access to the European Business Awards for the Environment.
