Cutting complexity: Mapping energy efficiency in your organisation will take place on Thursday, 22 September at 2pm

Taking place on Thursday, 22 September at 2pm, edie’s exclusive, interactive webinar - titled Cutting Complexity: Mapping energy efficiency in your organisation – will reveal the secrets to successful energy management, with the help of industry experts.

Hilton Worldwide's energy and environment manager (EMEA) Claire Whitely, Costa Coffee’s energy and environment manager Oliver Rosevear, and E.ON’s director of customer solutions Phil Gilbert are among the expert speakers of the hour-long webinar, which will also incorporate a live audience Q&A chaired by edie editor Luke Nicholls.

The perfect storm of rising energy costs, budgetary constraints and an ever-changing green policy landscape has made the energy management role a highly complex and diverse one.

Is your focus on delivering cost savings, reducing carbon footprints or ramping up security of supply? What is the best energy efficiency option for you, based on your organisation’s overarching sustainability strategy? And how do you convince the relevant people within the business that investing in energy reduction now will bring significant financial and environmental rewards in the future?

This free-to-watch webinar will use best-practice examples from the experts that have mapped out and delivered successful energy efficiency projects to explore the various opportunities behind effective energy management. From setting ambitious goals and identifying the biggest wins through to changing behaviours, driving innovation and rolling out projects across multiple sites - registrants will be provided with an exclusive, end-to-end overview of successful energy efficiency projects.

The webinar will include presentations from leading experts: -

Luke Nicholls, editor of edie, will chair the webinar, providing a brief introduction to the complexities of energy management, and the potential opportunities that lie behind the key challenges.

Claire Whitely, energy and environment manager (EMEA) for Hilton Worldwide, will discuss LightStay - Hilton's new state-of-the-art, in-house corporate responsibility measurement platform which helps the group better manage the energy usage of its 4,400+ properties globally, as well as drive improvement across hundreds of indicators over time.

Oliver Rosevear, energy and environment manager for Costa Coffee, will explain how the UK’s largest coffee shop chain has been able to deliver on ambitious energy reduction commitments whilst developing its award-winning zero-energy ‘EcoPod’ concept which looks to change the way landlords work with retailers to drive a low-carbon economy.

Phil Gilbert, director of customer solutions at E.ON, will use his 15 years’ experience in the energy industry to offer an insight on how businesses can improve their competitive performance and profit from improved efficiencies. Having worked on trading, renewables, new technology development, combined heat and power (CHP) and biomass, Gilbert will show businesses that E.ON does a lot more than simply supply energy.
