The magnitude of the 10-year Scottish NHS healthcare contract has meant significant investment for Health Care Environmental in plant, vehicles and an incinerator and is also reflected in the volume and range of containers ordered from Contenur.
Thousands of Contenur products have been ordered and include 770, 660, and 240 litre containers from the Clinical range which are manufactured in high-density polyethylene and are resistant to corrosion and staining.
The manufacturing process that Contenur uses ensures there are no drillings for drain plugs or side trunnions, giving a seamless product that reduces the risk of any potential seepage. The polyethylene used is also highly resistant to scratching, reducing the transfer of bacteria, which is important in a clinical environment.
