Monitor company's carbon footprint online

Monitor company's carbon footprint online
A website claiming to be the first online CO2 benchmarking service was launched at Sustainabilitylive!

CO2Benchmark.com says it's the first data service to allow companies to benchmark their carbon footprint in preparation for the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC).

Reg Warlop, the firm's managing director, explains: "Anyone can benchmark emissions by taking into account important factors, such as origin of electricity supply and organisation size.

"But, this type of information is typically hard to find and scattered across reports.

"For the first time we've got this information into one database and made it easily available for people.

"Anyone can now gain fact-based insights into how companies are managing their carbon footprint."
