25 September 2009 Gail Porter opens Camden's Green Motor Expo![]() Gail Porter tries out an electric scooter Ms Porter, a Camden resident, said she gave up her 'gas guzzler' years ago and is now to be seen driving around London on a tandem bicycle with her young daughter. She said: "I'm here to support the Green Motor Expo ... the idea of this show is to show that cars, vans and bikes are changing right now with lots of vehicles entering the market place. "I'm also here to endorse Camden Council's Green Promise scheme, which I've just signed up with. "I ditched my gas guzzler a wee while ago, because I just thought it was useless to have these things and obviously I want to do my bit for the environment." The show featured some of the latest examples of environmentally friendly cars, vans, scooters and bicycles from a number of companies. Luke Walsh Source: edie newsroom

By Steven Glaser Hi, thanks for coverng our event. I would just like to point out that the bicyles we promoted in a the show were all electric-assist bikes. E-bikes are one of the fastest growing markets in the world. Test drive one today to experiance for yourself how this technology has come on leaps and bounds in recent years.
