News Release

Whitham Mills Engineering Ltd. help Advance Polymers to increase production.
Whitham Mills Engineering Limited, the UK's market leader in the manufacture and supply of Baling, Granulating & Recycling Systems, has recently supplied and installed a WS-6560 - 150Hp granulator at Advance Polymers Ltd of Huddersfield.

As part of their ongoing contract to recycle ABS, shower trays, baths and bath panels, Advance Polymers needed to invest in a larger granulator to speed up production.

Advance Polymers Director Michael Connors stated: after researching the various granulators and manufacturers on the market, Advance Polymers decided that the WS-6560 granulator supplied by Whitham Mills Engineering provided the most cost effective and practical solution for our needs.

The 1500mm wide feed opening and large loading hopper allows continuous loading of complete panels and baths without pre-shredding.

The ABS is granulated down to a 6mm piece with a throughput of up to 2 tonnes per hour.

Whitham Mills Engineering Ltd is an ISO quality assured company based in Todmorden in the North West of England, providing a comprehensive range of highly-efficient, reliable and profitable recycling equipment.

Michael Connors stated that they are extremely delighted with new granulating system and the response and service back up provided by Whitham Mills Engineering Ltd. and we would have no problem in recommending them to any other customer.
