SRM deal makes Tradebe UK’s biggest hazardous waste firm

Tradebe UK claims it is set to become the UK's largest hazardous waste management business after its parent company Tradebe Group acquired SRM, a leading solvent handling firm.

The deal will increase the enlarged UK organisations’ turnover to around £75m per annum. Tradebe UK’s CEO, Alex Gazulla, said the acquisition means the business now operates across 18 different sites, employing 540 staff nationally.

He added: “The SRM business perfectly complements Tradebe’s existing operations, both in the range of services we can offer our customers plus an enhanced geographic reach. We have truly become a one stop shop for our customers.”

Tradebe specialises in the recycling, recovery and disposal of hazardous substances created by industry and industrial cleaning activities. Globally, the company operates in six markets including US, Spain, France and Turkey, employs over 1,800 people and has an annual turnover of €350m.
