Edie Awards: One month to register

With only one month left to register, the 2011 Awards for Environmental Excellence are set to receive a record level of entries.

Don’t miss out on your chance to register for edie’s prestigious awards and give your company the recognition it deserves.

Both products and projects from around the UK and EU are eligible to enter the awards this year and will be judged by an impressive panel led by Sir Chris Smith, chair of the Environment Agency.

The awards, now in their fifth year, will highlight the best achievements and innovation in sustainable business.

Entrants can enter one of more of the following categories:

Carbon Reduction
Green Retail Initiative
Green Corporate Initiative
Public Sector Initiative
Renewable Energy
Sustainable Construction
Sustainable Transport
Waste and Resource Management
Water and Wastewater

Previous winners of the awards have included Marks and Spencer, BT Open Reach, Mitsubishi Electric, Coca Cola and Wolseley.

The awards are endorsed by the highly regarded RSA accreditation scheme – one of only a handful of environmental schemes to be chosen for this honour.

Winners of an edie award have the opportunity to gain further accolades on the international stage, as part of the RSA scheme automatically gives access to the European Business Awards for the Environment.

The awards night will take place at the internationally renowned Hurlingham Club set in 42 acres of magnificent grounds next to the Thames River.

The deadline for entries is 4:00pm on Friday 29th April. For more details on the categories and how to enter visit the awards website.
