The company, a subsidiary of waste management business Urbaser SA, already had a contract to carry out street and facilities cleansing in the Gosport area.

It has now appointed contract hire firm SFS to supply seven Dennis Eagle refuse trucks to fulfill this latest agreement.

The vehicles will be used to carry out alternate weekly collections of co-mingled recyclables and residual waste from households across Gosport.

Dennis Eagle’s sales & marketing director, Richard Taylor, said: “This is a significant contract success for us on a number of levels notably that Urbaser, which has strong links with our parent company Ros Roca, has chosen our vehicles to spearhead its launch into the UK marketplace.”
