Dublin to host double show

Next week Dublin will play host to Ireland's national trade shows for environmental professionals, Irish Recycling & Waste Management (IRWM) and Irish Water Waste & Environment (IWWE).

The two exhibitions are held annually at the RDS in the city and together cover a broad range of sectors including water, waste water, recycling, waste management, energy and environmental industries.

Running successfully for over 25 years, IWWE is Ireland’s largest national event for the water, energy and environment sectors, making it the event in the water and waste water industry.

More than 120 exhibitors display and demonstrate new products and services for monitoring, emission control, waste water treatment and environmental compliance.

Launched in 2000, IRWM is the relative new comer but has already established itself as the premier exhibition for all those involved in recycling and waste management throughout Ireland.

Dedicated to the needs of professionals from both local authorities and industry, the show continues to reflect the huge growth the sector has experienced in the last few years.

The exhibitions offer the perfect opportunity to keep up to date with the latest technological developments across a broad spectrum of environmental industries.

The doors to the two-day event will open at 9.30am next Wednesday and as well as offering unparalleled networking opportunities and a chance to find out what well over 200 exhibitors have on show, there will be a packed programme of informative seminars to help keep visitors clued up and ahead of the game when it comes to new legislation and industry developments.

Speakers include experts from government, regulators and industry and will offer insights into everything from the latest developments in waste-to-energy policy and technologies to how best to monitor potable water supplies for microbial contamination.

There will also be an interactive debate for those who prefer to get stuck in and have their say.

Full details of both exhibitions can be found online at www.environment-ireland.com where those planning to attend are also invite to register.

Both shows will be open from 9.30am to 6pm on Wedensday, March 7 and from 9.30am to 4.30pm on Thursday, March 8.
